Caravaning in Comfort in the Wild North of Ireland

posted on 14 February 2012

Who can forget the sound of the wind blowing off the north Atlantic into the caravan park on Aran island in the northwest of Ireland? As we sat in our caravan enjoying the view through the picture window at one end of the caravan, we were glad that we were inside the cozy little 20 foot carriage rather than outside. After looking at a lot of caravans for sale, we finally bought one, and we towed the caravan from England, taking the ferry across the Irish Sea and across Ireland over to the west coast to begin our caravan holiday of the island. The caravan park we had found on the island of Aran, which juts out into the Atlantic, was the perfect spot to start a real Irish holiday. There was a swimming pool, a small bar and a few facilities such as a sports hall and indoor tennis court for the kids. That is the great thing about a caravan holiday. You have the freedom to travel, yet the comforts of your own home with you all the time. And when you are surveying the majesty of nature through the window of your own little caravan you are very glad for such comforts.

Need to know facts when traveling to certain parts of Asia.

posted on 2 February 2012

Recently I have made arrangements to travel to Asia to check on electronics that I could import but first I had to embark on a fact finding mission on what I can get there. So I went through a list of countries that could possibly have what I was looking for, I settled on Japan. Every country has the things you need to do before going there like immunizations and the likes. So I asked do i need vaccinations for japan. Surprisingly, yes I do I didn't expect much of it but upon looking at its location one will understand that Japan is an island and islands tend to have different weather and environment. Apparently am supposed to be vaccinated against mumps, measles, tetanus and lastly Japanese encephalitis. This was new to me but I was willing to learn more about the place as I went shopping for my electronics. Indeed I did find my electronics and arranged for them to come by ship as i traveled back by plane to await the shipment. As I was there I got to learn so much about the place very beautiful and advanced technologically.
